John W. Fletcher III

For over thirty-five years, John has successfully handled commercial and residential foreclosures, claim and delivery (replevin) actions, Federal and North Carolina appeals, various civil litigation (including lien enforcement, defense of institutional clients in truth-in-lending, RESPA, and other consumer cases), and numerous mortgage reformation and quiet title cases. John represents mortgage servicers and lenders, investors, banks, vehicle and equipment lessors, and manufactured housing lenders. He has authored unpublished manuscripts on bankruptcy, collections, and vehicle and equipment leasing for client use and speaking engagements.

Approach

John initiates an in-depth discussion early in the engagement to ensure mutual alignment of the objective(s). To help clients reach their goals, John diligently works to achieve his clients’ desired outcome while communicating at each important step. John’s gratification comes from securing a positive outcome for the client, whether it be a victory in court, a fair settlement, successful mediation, or any other favorable resolution.
